In the 2020/2021 school year I was fortunate enough to have my children on campus for learning. Every day I saw the teachers, staff, facilities and nurse working so hard to keep my kids safe while learning. The communication surrounding COVID safety was excellent and I can only imagine the enormous effort that went into educating my kids under those circumstances.

I wrote an email to the head of school, thanking her and all of the employees of our school, pointing out all the ways I see the school focusing on the children amidst the ever-changing pandemic rules and safety guidelines.

The principal thanked me for the message and shared that she read it aloud at the staff meeting. Saying thank you is a wonderful way to show kindness.
